What you are signing up for
- What arrives
- One piece of analysis — a breakdown, an explainer or a piece of policy arithmetic — with the numbers shown in full and the assumptions stated. The email carries the analysis itself, not a teaser that makes you click.
- How often
- When there is something worth reading. Some weeks that is one email; some weeks it is none. We would rather send nothing than send filler, so we do not promise a schedule we would end up padding.
- What never happens
- Your address is never sold, rented or shared with anyone. There is no daily digest, no roundup, no sponsored send, and no popup asking you to subscribe to something you have already subscribed to.
- Leaving
- Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that works in one click, with no confirmation page and no questions about why. Unsubscribing deletes you from the list rather than marking you inactive.
If you would rather read something before handing over an address, that is the sensible order. Start with the latest analysis or, if housing economics is new to you, with Housing 101, which builds the vocabulary the rest of the site assumes.
